Les Andalouses is Oran's most beloved and iconic beach — a stunning 3km crescent of fine golden sand lapped by the calm, warm waters of the Mediterranean. Just 30 kilometres west of the city, it is the perfect escape from urban life.
The beach is wide, clean and well-organised with sunbed rental, beach cafés, seafood restaurants and water sports facilities. The water is shallow and calm making it ideal for families and young children.
The beach is open year-round though the swimming season runs from June to September. Lifeguards are on duty in peak season. Parking is available nearby. Arrive early in summer to secure a good spot.
